Facebook – The Lesser Of Two Evils

MySpace was a 40 year old stalker’s best friend, so it was Facebook to the rescue, but is it better? What’s worse, the danger of being tricked into a car with promises of lollipops, or wasting your hours online? The first issue seems more pressing, however it seems to affect the naive and stupid, while Facebook is like a black hole, sucking up you precious, precious time!

MySpace was like a breeding ground of losers, poor design and kiddie-traps. It got hacked many a time, and everyone was complaining. Then, Facebook came and everyone freaked out. Why Facebook? There are lots of other Social Networking apps, like Virb, so why Facebook? I smell hype.

It wasn’t even that bad until Zuckerman released an open platform, and everyone went apeshit over the little applications. Now each page is littered with PacMan, SuperWall, MegaPoke and other such nonsense. People, get off Facebook and read an actual book once in a while! Sure, spending some time is OK, if you’re Facebooking more than you’re eating, that’s a problem.

Oh yes, the wonderful Facebook applications. What a pain they are! I never understood what the whole point was, except adding the clutter everywhere.

Wow, I had never actaully read this untill today that I was going through the archive. Favebook is evil and it IS A BLACK hole it DOES eat ur precious time, its addictive like msn but MUCH WORSE addiction. It feelds humans’ natural hunger for nosiness and minding others business and is VERY addictive. I have boycotted Facebook for years and continue to do so…
